Pipeline sections of the heating furnace of the Umid oil treatment unit owned by the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department of Uzbekneftegaz, have been repaired and put into operation, Trend reports referring to Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
Uzbekneftegaz said the Umid oil treatment facility, owned by the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department, will carry out and maintain processes of primary processing of liquid hydrocarbons produced from wells at the Umid field.
It was noted that liquid hydrocarbons produced from wells in the field are sent through a group measuring device to the Umid oil treatment unit. Crude oil, separated from gas and water through separators on the device, is heated in a PP-63 furnace. With the help of a chemical demulsifier, the water contained in the product is separated and brought to a marketable state.
Uzbekneftegaz said that corrosion-damaged and worn-out sections of the pipelines of the PP-63 heating furnace at the unit, as well as pipes for draining water separated from the liquid hydrocarbon composition into the reservoir through well No. 63, were repaired and put into operation.
After the initial processing of the mixture through the Umid oil preparation unit, the crude oil is sent to the refineries.
