ERIELL continues to work on a large program to construct new wells, overhaul existing wells and create new high-technology facilities to support Uzbekistan’s Presidential decree, to increase hydrocarbon production in Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing the press service of the company.

ERIELL is an international oilfield services group providing well construction and workover services to leading oil and gas companies in the Russian Federation, Central, and South Asia, and the Middle East.

In extremely challenging economic circumstances for the entire world in 2020 due to COVID-19, ERIELL Group showed great resilience and maintained production at almost identical levels to 2019. Projects were concentrated in Russia and Uzbekistan and the Group drilled 1.33 million meters (1.37 million meters in 2019). Similarly, the number of wells drilled was almost identical - 344 (350 drilled wells in 2019).

The Group is well-positioned for 2021, albeit global economic uncertainty remains. The Group believes it is prudent to forecast conservatively and expects to complete 382 wells and drill 1.32 million meters this year but remains hopeful these forecasts will be revised upwards.

The First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of ERIELL Group and General Director of ERIELL Neftegazservice LLC Vitaly Dokunikhin said that work was planned in Iraq and Bangladesh, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the start of work was postponed to 2021.

In Iraq, ERIELL previously won the Petronas tender to drill and develop 23 production wells in the Garraf field, while in Bangladesh, three exploration wells were planned to be drilled on Bol Island.

In Uzbekistan, ERIELL continues to work on a large program to construct new wells, overhaul existing wells and create new high-technology facilities to support Uzbekistan’s Presidential decree, to increase hydrocarbon production.

In cooperation with contractors (Uzbekneftegas drilling companies), ERIELL drilled 84 wells and carried out formation hydraulic fracturing at 22 wells. In the Karakalpakstan Republic, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, Bukhara and Andijan regions, 90 oil and gas wells were commissioned, 90 flowlines with a total length of 114.3 kilometers and eight gas pipelines with a length of 114 kilometers were constructed and commissioned, and seven gas-collecting stations were constructed.

At the Extension UGS Gazli project, the company drilled 16 vertical and directional wells with telemetry. Three of the wells were drilled ahead of schedule.

As part of a program to increase crude production at the Jizzakh Petroleum joint venture, ERIELL drilled 23 wells, commissioned 20 wells, and completed the construction of flowlines with a length of 15.2 kilometers and power lines with a length of 10.5 kilometers.

The largest and most complex project in Uzbekistan remains the Mustakillikning 25 Yilligi field, wherein in 2020 the company drilled seven wells.
