The pressure of natural gas supplied through the Urtabulak-MGZP and Denizkul-MGZP gas pipelines, owned by the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department, have been stabilized, Trend reports referring to Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
Uzbekneftegaz reports that experts analyzed the pressure of natural gas coming from the Urtabulak-MGPZ and Denizkul-MGPZ gas pipelines from high-sulfur fields belonging to the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department.
According to the result of the analysis, the pressure indicators of the gas coming from the unified collector of these pipes to the units of the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant differ from each other (by 0.4 kgf/cm2).
In agreement with the specialists of the Hydrocarbon Production Department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Directorate, and the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant, work was carried out to stabilize the pressure at the inlet to the natural gas purification units from sulfur compounds of the plant.
Thus, the rational distribution of gas in the gas cleaning units and the operating modes of the units have been optimized. As a result, the pressures of natural gas supplied through the Urtabulak-MGZP and Denizkul-MGZP gas pipelines, owned by the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department, were equalized and the daily gas production increased by 60 thousand cubic meters.
Commissioned in 1973 the Mubarek gas processing plant is located in the Mubarek district of the Kashkadarya region. Installations for gas purification from sulfur compounds No. 12, 27, commissioned in 1983–2017, are designed to purify regeneration gases from high-sulfur and carbon dioxide gases. The unit is designed to receive 29.5 billion cubic meters of high-sulfur-associated gas per year.
