The air-cooling unit for the ethylene production workshop in the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex was successfully put into operation after reconstruction, Trend reports referring to the Press Service of Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex LLC.
On behalf of the Chairman of the Management Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC Mehriddin Abdullayev, large-scale work is being carried out in order to prepare and process the produced products and improve the quality indicators in the industry.
In particular, repair work was carried out on an air cooling unit designed to cool the diethanolamine solution, to purify acid gases from natural gas used in the production processes of the Shurtan gas chemical complex.
Repair work in packages D and F of this air cooling unit was carried out by qualified specialists of the mechanical repair shop of the Shurtan gas chemical complex.
Also, to normalize the heat exchange effect and increase production efficiency, the reconstructed air cooler packages were installed and, after testing, put into operation.
It was noted that as a result of repair work without the involvement of foreign specialists, it was possible to save about 800 million soums ($76 million).
