By Leman Zeynalova – Trend:

Currently, P&O Maritime Logistics’ fleet supplies BP Subsea & Pipelines Operations at ACG and BP Global Project Organization at Shah Deniz II (SDII) fields, where production is ongoing, with a fleet of PSVs, AHTSs, ERRVs and MPVs, P&O Maritime Logistics told Trend.

“Over the last two years we have provided pipe lay and light construction support for SDII project.

After Total’s exploration at Absheron concluded in 2019, we have partnered with Saipem and provided two vessels supporting pipe lay in the field. At Karabakh field we provided Equinor vessel support services at the beginning of exploration in 2019 until it concluded in 2020. Work at Karabakh is currently suspended,” said the company.

In Azerbaijan, the company provides marine and logistics services to International Oil Companies (IOCs) and International Engineering, Procurement, Installation and Commissioning (EPIC) providers.

“We are a partner in supporting the oil and gas industry in Azerbaijan and the construction of new international pipeline infrastructure. In early 2021, despite the ongoing challenges due to the pandemic, P&O Maritime Logistics performed well in Azerbaijan – all while prioritizing operational excellence.

P&O Maritime Logistics is a leading provider of marine solutions with a strategic focus on offshore energy, port services and logistics. We own and operate approximately 400 vessels worldwide, providing a diverse offering of value-added marine services and the ability to integrate these offerings seamlessly with the needs of our customers – and always putting safety and the environment first,” said the company.
