Uzbekneftegaz increases natural gas output at field of Gazli oil and gas production dep’t

The daily volume of natural gas production increased by 150,000 cubic meters at the Kulbeshkak field of Gazli oil and gas production department in Bukhara region in Uzbekistan, Trend reports referring to Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

According to the information, natural gas extracted from the fields owned by the Uzbekneftegaz JSC, after being treated at the primary gas treatment unit at the Kulbeshkak field, is transferred to the Gazli gas processing plant to produce finished products.

It is reported that a number of works are currently being carried out to increase the volumes of natural gas production at the Doyakhotin, Kulbeshkak, Khozhikazgan, Kumli, Tylok, and Savatli fields and to ensure uninterrupted operation of the newly built Uchkir compressor station, as well as to increase the volume and quality of liquefied gas production.

In particular, additional pipelines are being installed in order to eliminate the compressions arising in the pipelines when supplying natural gas produced from the wells of these fields. As a result, natural gas production is increased by reducing pressure drops.

It is noted that Gazli gas processing plant ensured stable operation of technological regime processes of newly built gas drying units using zeolite and separation of the propane-butane mixture due to uninterrupted operation of newly commissioned GPA-100, -200 gas compressor units at the Uchkir compressor station.

In addition, the scheme of pipelines for supplying the produced natural gas from the fields to the Gazli gas processing plant was studied, the directions of optimal use were selected and operation was ensured.

As a result, the daily volume of natural gas extracted from the fields of the Gazli oil and gas production department was increased by 150,000 cubic meters, which made it possible to obtain 100 tons of condensate and 185 tons of liquefied gas.
