S. Korean company to import Uzbek saffron for cosmetics production

Uzbek saffron will be used by South Korean KGH as a pure natural raw material in the production of a wide range of cosmetic products, Trend reports with reference to Dunyo news agency.

A meeting between representatives of BMB Trade Group and South Korean KGH was held in Tashkent in the format of videoconferencing.

It is reported that during negotiations the companies signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of health care, the development of traditional medicine, the promotion of medicinal herbal products in the domestic and foreign markets, as well as the export of saffron products.

In turn, the Uzbek saffron exported under this agreement is used by KGH representatives as pure natural raw materials in the production of a wide range of cosmetic products such as perfumes, hygiene products, creams, and scented soaps.

In addition, specific proposals and recommendations for the implementation of this agreement were identified, as well as a road map.

KGH has a reputation in the field of cosmetics, health care, especially in traditional medicine, not only in South Korea but also in Asia in general. In this country, as in the rest of the world, saffron is widely used in the preparation of perfumes and hygiene products and is one of the leading medicinal plants recommended by Korean doctors.
