Kazakhstan's petroleum oil exports to Netherlands skyrocket in volume

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 11

Kazakhstan has exported 168,681 tons of crude petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 59.3 million euros to the Netherlands in February 2021, a Eurostat official told Trend.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s exported 190,210 tons of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals worth 66.4 million euros to the Netherlands from Jan. through Feb. 2021.

Thus, the February volume of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals from Kazakhstan to the Netherlands is 6.8 times more than in volume compared to January 2021 (21,528 tons) and is 8.4 times more than in Feb. 2020 (17,848 tons).

February export value is also 7.4 times more than in October 2020 (7 million euros) and is 7.5 times more than in Feb. 2020 (7.05 million euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the Netherlands amounted to $770.07 million from January through February 2021, compared to $835.5 million during the same period of 2020.

Kazakhstan’s export to the Netherlands amounted to $745.8 million from January through February 2021, compared to $791.8 million during the same period of 2020.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from the Netherlands amounted to nearly $24.1 million over the reporting period, compared to $43.7 million during the same period of 2020.
