The retail turnover of gasoline and diesel fuel in Azerbaijan totaled 967.2 million manat ($568.9 million) from January through May 2021, having increased by 2.2 percent compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing a report of the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
As reported, the share of sales of motor gasoline and diesel fuel in the total retail trade turnover of the country reached 6.4 percent.
At the same time, the average monthly retail trade turnover per capita amounted to 304.6 manat ($179.1).
In the first 5 months of 2021, the cost of products sold in retail chains in Azerbaijan amounted to 15.2 billion manat ($8.94 billion), which is 0.3 percent less compared to the same period of 2020.
