KEA Korea Research Institute for Climate Change (KRIC) offered to create a laboratory for determining the efficiency of solar photovoltaic stations on the basis of the National Research Institute of Renewable Energy Sources under the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing Uzbek energy ministry.
The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan held negotiations with the delegation of the KEA Korea Research Institute for Climate Change (KRIC).
During the meeting, issues of cooperation were discussed, in particular in the field of bioenergy, as well as advanced training of employees of economic sectors with the involvement of Korean experts and energy audit companies.
The head of the Korean company proposed the implementation of a number of pilot projects in Uzbekistan on a grant basis.
In particular, it was proposed to create a training center for energy managers and Bio Energy Center bioenergy cluster, a project to determine the degree of energy efficiency in the production of the main products of energy-intensive enterprises.
In addition, it was also proposed to create a laboratory to determine the efficiency of solar photovoltaic stations on the basis of the National Research Institute of Renewable Energy Sources under the Ministry of Energy.
During the negotiations, the parties reached an agreement on a detailed consideration of the discussed projects.
The KRIC is an organization established to conduct mid-to-long-term climate change mitigation strategies through systematic R&BD on global climate change and to conduct research on clean energy development and international climate change response research. The company is active in Southern Asia, Western Asia, Eastern Asia, Eastern Africa, South-Eastern Asia, and Polynesia.
