In general, 1,215 cities and 34,402 villages in Iran have been supplied with gas to date, Trend reports citing the report of National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC).
According to the report, there are currently 25,667,417 gas subscribers in Iran.
In addition, so far, 86 power plants in Iran have been supplied with gas.
Within the "Government Week" in Iran (August 24 through August 30), 23 villages and 63 industrial enterprises in Iran's Kurdistan Province, 2 villages and 56 industrial enterprises in Hamadan Province, 161 industrial enterprises in Yazd Province, 49 villages, 27 industrial enterprises as well as, 1 post office in East Azerbaijan Province were supplied with gas.
At the same time, 4 villages in Iran's Ilam Province, 40 villages in Ardabil Province, 18 industrial enterprises in Semnan Province, 60 villages and 16 industrial enterprises in Kermanshah Province, 38 industrial enterprises in Zanjan Province, 2 villages in Gilan Province, 76 villages and 320 industrial enterprises in Razavi Khorasani Province were supplied with gas within the “Government Week" in Iran.
