Azerishig OJSC reveals work done to supply power to Azerbaijan’ Kalbajar

According to the order of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, since the liberation of the city of Kalbajar from the occupation, 11 projects have been implemented within the framework of repair and restoration work, Azerishig OJSC told Trend.

According to the information, Azerishig has restored a two-circuit overhead Kalbajar power line with a capacity of 110 kilovolts and a length of 19.7 kilometers. Thus, the city was provided with electricity.

Azerishig OJSC stated that an overhead power transmission line with a capacity of 110 kilovolts and a length of 14 kilometers in the direction of the Kalbajar-Veng-Baglypaya substation was also restored.

In addition, the Istisu overhead power line (110 kilovolts) with a length of 10.6 kilometers has been restored and a new line with a length of 2.9 kilometers has been laid. A line (10 kilovolts) with a length of 14.4 km was laid from the Kalbajar substation (110/35/10 kV) in the direction of the village of Zulfugarly, and a 6-kilometer cable line was laid to the village of Kamyshly.

The OJSC also noted that the Yanshak overhead line (35 kV) with a length of five kilometers has been restored.

At present, work is being completed on the construction of the Chaply overhead line (35 kV) with a length of 8.2 kilometers. Also, construction work is underway on self-supporting insulated wires (35 kV) in the direction of the village of Alagellar. Azerishig began construction of a cable line 35 kV Chaikend-Zod SIP with a length of 12.4 kilometers.

The company said that the construction of a substation (35 / 0.4 kV) has begun in Kalbajar. As part of the city's power supply, work is being completed on the 1st and 2nd Dashkesan overhead lines (110 kV) and the 110/35/10 kV Dashkesan substation is being reconstructed.

The OJSC also said that most of these projects were aimed at supplying power to military units.
