Prospecting work on another well will begin at the West Cheleken field in Turkmenistan, Trend reports citing the press service of the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries.
According to the information, the specialists of the Goturdepe drilling department are preparing to start prospecting work at well No.707.
It’s also expected to receive an abundant inflow of crude oil at the well, which in the future will significantly raise the production indicators of the Galkynyshnebit oil and gas production department.
The enterprise carries out strict technical control over each production well.
According to geologists, the prospective subsoil of the Cheleken Peninsula contains significant oil reserves. The wells are being developed at a design depth of 1,200-2,750 meters.
