Kazakhstan reduces production of diesel fuel

Kazakhstan decreased total production and import volume of diesel fuel in October 2021, Trend reports referring to Committee on Statistics of the country's Ministry of National Economy.

According to the committee, this indicator amounted to 460,794 tons, down by 8.7 percent on annual basis and by 7.8 percent in monthly terms.

Besides, in the first 10 months of last year, the total production and import volume of diesel fuel amounted to 4.4 million tons, which is 0.5 percent less than in 10M2020.

Its production volume in October 2021 equaled 364,800 tons (a decline by 8.7 percent year on year and by 22.4 percent in monthly terms), while the import volume was 95,994 tons (a decrease by 8.7 percent year on year and growth of 3.3 times in monthly terms).

Meanwhile, 2,700 tons of the product were exported (a decrease of 56.3 percent compared to October 2020 and by 51.6 percent compared to September 2021), while the remaining 458,040 tons were sold on the domestic market (down by 8.1 percent and 7.2 percent on annual basis and in monthly terms, respectively).

The volume of diesel fuel exported in the first 10 months of 2021 amounted to 214,035 tons (a growth of 3.6 times compared to the same period of 2020) and sold on the domestic market – 4.2 million tons (a decrease of 4.1 percent).
