BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 30. Türkiye has imported a total of 397,458 tons of crude oil from Kazakhstan in July 2022, which accounted for 9.68 percent of total Türkiye’s crude oil imports for the month, Trend reports citing Türkiye’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).

Thus, Türkiye’s import of Kazakh crude oil increased by 24.6 percent compared to June 2022 (318,458 tons) and went down by 30.8 percent compared to the volume imported in July 2021 (575,118 tons).

Türkiye’s import of crude oil from Kazakhstan from January through July 2022 amounted to 2.8 million tons.

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Türkiye amounted to $3.5 billion over the period from January through July 2022, compared to $2.1 billion during the same months of 2021.

Kazakhstan’s exports to Türkiye amounted to $2.7 billion over the period from January through July 2022, compared to $1.4 billion during the same period of 2021.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from Türkiye amounted to nearly $745.05 million over the reporting period, compared to $659.9 million during the same period of 2021.
