BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 24. SOCAR Azerbaijan’s state oil company carried out drilling work in the amount of more than 18,000 meters in the third quarter of 2022, Trend reports with reference to the company.
During the reporting period, SOCAR produced over 2 million tons of oil and more than 2 billion cubic meters of gas.
"The volume of gas production has increased by 1.3 percent compared to the same period the previous year. The volume of oil export increased by 7.4 percent, up to 4.8 million tons ($2.8 million). SOCAR exported 174 million cubic meters of natural gas to Georgian market (increase by 56.8 percent)," SOCAR said.
SOCAR processed 1.8 million tons of oil and 898 million cubic meters of gas from July through September 2022.
"Gas processing increased by 10.6 percent compared to the same period last year. The facilities of SOCAR exported about 591 tons of oil, petrochemical and gas chemical products to foreign markets," SOCAR added.
