Iran’s NISOC signs contracts on buying special spare parts for oil equipment

BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 8. The National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) signed 3 contracts worth 523 billion rials (about $12.5 million) with the country’s start-up companies for the purchase of a number of spare parts, Trend reports citing the company’s website.

According to the first contract, 27 units of K-MILL drilling spare parts will be purchased. In this regard, 79.4 billion rials (about $1.9 million) will be spent.

Meanwhile, 40 Tubing Hanger spare parts will be purchased under the second contract. Some 46 billion rials (about $1.09 million) will be spent on the purchase of the mentioned spare parts.

Within the third contract, 200 units of Volvo Gate 7-1/6 spare parts will be purchased, and it will be cost 398 billion rials (about $9.47 million).

The National Iranian South Oil Company, a subordinate of the National Iranian Oil Company, operates 45 large and small hydrocarbon deposits in an area of 400,000 square kilometers from Iran's Bushehr Province to the north of Khuzestan Province.

The company extracts about 80 percent of Iran's crude oil and 16 percent of its gas. The company reportedly extracts about 3 million barrels of oil per day.
