BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 12. Azerbaijan exported over 30,272 tons of crude oil and petroleum products to Thailand from January through April 2023, which is 0.33 percent of the total export of raw materials from Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
This figure decreased by 12 times, or 338,200 tons on annual basis.
The value of the export of Azerbaijani oil and petroleum products to Thailand in the first four months of this year amounted to $15.5 million, down by $215.9 million (15 times) compared the same period in 2022.
Azerbaijan totally exported about 9.2 million tons of oil and petroleum products from January through April 2023, which is 2.6 percent less in comparison with the previous year (9.5 million tons).
The total value of oil exports amounted to more than $5.7 billion, which is 12.7 percent, or $829,564 less compared to the period from January through April 2022.
