BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 26. More than 80,000 tons of various hydrocarbon products will be on sale at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) on September 26, Trend reports.
Of the mentioned volume, over 32,100 tons will be on sale on the domestic floor of the energy exchange.
The following goods are to be offered:
- Iranian Esfahan Oil Refining Company’s 8,000 tons of iso recycle;
- Abadan Oil Refining Company’s 4,000 tons of naphtha and 2,000 tons of iso-feed products;
- South Pars Gas Company’s 3,800 tons of gas condensate;
- Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company’s 3,000 tons of Raffinate, 3,000 tons of reformate and 3,000 tons of heavy hydrocarbon products;
- Bistoon Petrochemical Company’s 1,000 tons of Raffinate;
- Khuzestan Steel Company’s 704 tons of liquid oxygen and 616 tons of liquid nitrogen products;
- Tabriz Oil Refining Company’s 500 tons of iso-recycle, 500 tons of iso-feed, 424 tons of solvent-402 and 106 tons of solvent 404 products;
- Tabriz Petrochemical Company’s 400 tons of hydrocarbons (C7-C9);
- Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company’s 286 tons of heavy distillate, 200 tons of liquefied gas and 120 tons of MTBE products;
- Jam Petrochemical Company’s 200 tons of heavy distillate;
- Persian Gulf Fajr Energy Company’s 200 tons of liquid nitrogen;
- Shimibaft Petrochemical Company’s 100 tons of MTBE;
- Razi Petrochemical Company’s 40 tons of gas condensate products.
At the same time, around 48,000 tons products will be on sale on the international floor of the IRENEX:
- Iranian South Pars Gas Company’s 30,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG);
- Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company’s 4,000 tons of heavy hydrocarbons, 3,000 tons of Raffinate and 1,000 tons of liquefied gas products;
- National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company’s 4,000 tons of aviation fuel (ATK);
- Fajr Jam Petrochemical Company’s 3,000 tons of LPG;
- Shimibaft Petrochemical Company’s 2,500 tons of MTBE;
- Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company’s 240 tons of MTBE;
- Tabriz Petrochemical Company’s 200 tons of pentane products.
Meanwhile, the value of total sales at the IRENEX for the last week was around 50.5 trillion rials (about $123 million) during the last Iranian week (Sept. 16 through Sept. 20, 2023), representing a 25 percent decrease from the previous week (Sept. 9 through Sept. 13, 2023).
Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) sells its products at the SANA exchange rate.
The SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange outlets, where the price of 1 euro is 436,177 rials and the price of $1 is 411,923 rials.
The sale of hydrocarbon products at the Iran Energy Exchange is of great importance to the country’s economy. Through the energy exchange, Iran seeks to provide hydrocarbon products needed by local companies as well as increase exports.
