ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, November 3. Businessmen from the UAE signed an agreement with Turkmenistan on aviation fuel on its State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange, Trend reports.
A deal was concluded to purchase aviation fuel from Turkmenistan at a price of $936.50 per ton for a total amount of about $4.68 million.
Furthermore, business representatives from Türkiye concluded a deal to purchase cotton yarn from the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan for a total amount of $497,200.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. The country pays great attention to the construction of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
