BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 30. Iran’s Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Holding (PGPIC) plans to boost its annual production to 24.5 million tons by the end of this Iranian year (March 19, 2024), Trend reports.
The company’s data shows that its current yearly production is 23.2 million tons, which will increase by launching 10 new units by year-end.
In the last two years, the holding’s yearly production has grown from 20.5 million tons to 23.2 million tons.
Meanwhile, the holding expects to raise its annual sales value to 4.15 quadrillion rials (about $98.8 billion) by the end of the current Iranian year, compared to 1.31 quadrillion rials (about $31.2 billion) two years ago.
The holding also anticipates making a yearly net profit of 684 trillion rials (about $16.3 billion) by the end of the current Iranian year, up from 387 trillion rials (about $9.21 billion) two years ago.
Iran's Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Holding is considered one of the main petrochemical companies in the country. The holding plans to increase its annual production to 57.4 million tons by March 19, 2028, and the value of sales to $30.1 billion.
