BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 22. Azerbaijan exported over 884,322 tons of crude oil and petroleum products to Israel, accounting for 19,24 percent of Azerbaijan's total raw material exports, from January through February 2024, Trend reports.
Calculations based on data from Azerbaijan's State Customs
Committee indicate that this indicator fell by 67.18 percent, or
355,350 tons, year on year.
During the stipulated time, Azerbaijani oil and petroleum products
were exported to Israel for $527.5 million, 59.12 percent, or
$195.9 million less than in 2023.
Azerbaijan exported about 4.6 million tons of oil and petroleum
products from January to February 2024, which is 11.2 percent less
than the same period last year. In terms of value, Azerbaijani oil
exports exceeded $2.8 billion, representing a 13.06 percent
reduction, or $424.6 million, over the same period in 2023.
