The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) plans to commission the well N87 on the �Alet-Deniz’ off-shore oil field till the year-end, SOCAR told Trend.
The well’s design depth is 3450 meters. Drilling is currently conducted at the depth of 3300 meters. The daily average drilling velocity is 12 meters. The wells’ production is forecasted as about 100 tons daily.
The works are performed by the Department for Prospecting and Drilling works "Bulla-Deniz”, a part of the SOCAR Producing Unit (PU) “Azneft”. The Department, except for this well, performs drilling works on the “Bulla-Deniz” and “8 March” fields at the order of the “Bulla-Deniz” PU. Drilling works are conducted since the start of the year. The works are supposed to be over in early 2006.
