67-year old Azeri overpasses BTC for 21 days

An 67-year old Azerbaijani citizen, Yusif Mammadov, has over-passed a 1,600km Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline for 21 days, Trend reports citing the Turkish media.

Having reached the terminal named after Heydar Aliyev in Ceyhan, Turkey, the Azerbaijani cyclist took a photo on the background of Great National Leader, which is in the entrance to the terminal and concluded his tour.

In every village on this way Mammadov visited the gendarmerie or police, to certify his visit officially.

The cyclist is not going to end his route. Mammadov plans to visit the resort city in Antalia and then left for Istanbul. After Mamadov will return back to Azerbaijan by bus.

In 1996 Mammadov over-passed the Baku-Paris route for 23 days.
