Akif Narimanov, the senior geologist of Azneft Production Association of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), said that the program of the SOCAR stipulates the construction of a platform in the northeast part of the Pirallahi field, Trend reports.
The platform, which is to be installed at the end of the next year, is allocated for 12 wells. Earlier 4 appraisal wells were drilled in this part of the field. The reserves are estimated to be approximately 1 million tons, while the researches might decrease this figure, according to Narimanov.
