A joint meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and Committee for Industry, Research and Energy of Europe and European Parliament on the topic In the way of improving the energy security in Europe will take place in Brussels on November 28, Trend reports. The meeting will focus on the issue of how Ukraine may assist in diversification and ensuring safe energy transit from Russia, Azerbaijan and Turkey. Debates will be organized on the expansion of the project Trans-European networks via the countries of the European Union. The PACE representative Ursul Jasek will deliver a report. The meeting will cover the energy co-operation of Russia with the European Union, efficiency of expanding the energy security of Europe in nuclear strategies and the role of the coal in the future energy supply of the European Union.
