In 2006, the State Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) sold 181,58 thousand of petrol, 325,65 thousand diesel fuel, 32,82 thousand of kerosene, and 109,34 thousand tons of mazut, Trend reports, based on a message spread by the Marketing and Economic Operations Department of SOCAR.
The largest volume of all types of oil products was sold in Baku вЂ" 79,19 thousand tons of petrol, 184,03 thousand tons of diesel fuel, 10,71 thousand tons of kerosene, and 43,32 thousand tons of mazut.
The smallest volume of petrol and diesel fuel was sold in Goradiz (Fuzuli District) вЂ" 962 and 433 tons correspondingly, kerosene and mazut in Aghstafa District вЂ" 54 and 55 tons correspondingly. Mazut was not sold in several districts of the country in 2006 at all.
