Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend / India is interested to participate in the reconstruction of the Azerbaijani oil refinery plants with the use of advanced technology and intends to invest in this project.
This statement was made by Chayrem Ramesh, the Indian State Minister for Commerce, at a meeting with Natik Aliyev, the Azerbaijan Minister for Industry Azerbaijan to Indian companies. India also intends to admit Azerbaijan students into its universities.
The Azerbaijani Minister stated the necessity to develop firm prospects of co-operation within the industry and power engineering using expert groups from two countries. Azerbaijan is interested in economic co-operation with India, he added. , he added.
The Indian Minister said that India implements program investments in the oil refinery in some countries of Latin America, Africa and Asia. So far, $5bln has been invested in this respect, Ramesh invited Azerbaijan to participate in these projects together with the Indian companies.
