Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S. Aliyev / In January-April 2007 the Marketing and Economic Operations Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported 695,161 tons of oil products. In April 207,000 tons of oil was transported against 195,000 tons in March, a source in SOCAR stated.
A large part of the exportation in April fell on the share of diesel fuel, 121,463 tons. In April the Department exported 3,471 tons of automobile benzene, 41,416 tons of aviation kerosene, 5,737 tons of lubricating oil and 4,135 tons of bitumen. The most expensive oil product in April was automobile benzene @ $698,8 (in March). The cost of the aviation kerosene in March amounted to $628.43 (in March $591.24), diesel fuel $593.51 (in March $545), mazut $311.24 (in March $274.45). In 2006 the volume of the export of oil products made up 2,925,700 tons.
