Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend / Operational wells belonging to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) have decreased to 6,165 wells for the 1 August. (6,169 for 1 July), excluding joint enterprises and operation companies.
A total of 4,895 wells from the total number are functioning, 1,255 wells are inoperative and 15 wells have been under construction.
