In January-May 2019 prices of industrial products in Kazakhstan increased by 11.6 percent, compared to the same period of last year, Trend reports via Committee of Statistics of Kazakhstan.
Furthermore, in May 2019 the same prices increased by 4.8 percent compared to December 2018.
The prices increase was observed in mining (7.4 percent) and processing industries (3.4 percent). The industrial products cost increased by 5.3 percent, whereas the cost of services of industrial nature decreased by 0.1 percent.
Since the beginning of the year the price increase was observed for metal ores (14.2 percent), coal (10 percent), liquefied propane and butane (8.9 percent), oil (7.3 percent), natural gas (two percent), diesel fuel (1.5 percent).
In contrast the petrol prices decreased by 12.1 percent and fuel oil prices decreased by 1.8 percent.
The price increase is also observed in prices on zinc (10.8 percent), copper (6.6 percent), precious metals (7.9 percent), lead (2.8 percent) and ferroalloys (1.2 percent).
The price decrease is displayed by rolling of the ferrous metals (1.5 percent) and by aluminum prices (one percent).
The price increase is observed in prices of rye flour (21.2 percent), wheat flour (12.8 percent), rice (13.7 percent), cereal (10.2 percent).
Furthermore, pasta products prices increased by 9.5 percent, cattle meat prices by 5.3 percent, bread prices by 5.2 percent, tea prices by four percent, vegetable oil and milk products prices by 2.4 percent and the fish prices by 1.7 percent.
In contract the price decrease is displayed by poultry meat (-2.9 percent).
