Kazakh railways operator increases assets volume

In 2018 the assets of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (national railway company) increased by 1.5 percent and amounted to 3.2 trillion tenge, Trend reports via the consolidated report of the company.

“The capital of the company decreased by 9.3 percent and amounted to 1.1 trillion tenge, whereas the liabilities of the company increased by 8.7 percent and equaled some two trillion tenge,” the report said.

“The gross income of the company amounted to 225.7 billion tenge, which is 17.7 percent more that in 2017,” reads the message.

“In 2018 the profit of the company slightly exceeded one trillion tenge, whereas in 2017 it amounted to 913.1 billion tenge (+14.3),” the statement said.

“Furthermore, the gross expenditures of the company equaled 86.4 billion tenge in 2018, whereas based on the results of 2017 the income of the company amounted to 12.9 billion tenge,” the report said.

“In the reporting period the expenditures volume before tax amounted to 71.2 billion tenge, whereas the same indicator equaled 18.3 billion tenge in 2017,” reads the message.

“The expenditures due to the currencies difference stood at 112.5 billion tenge in 2018 compared to 7.4 billion tenge in 2017,” the statement said.
