The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) has become the first international financial institution issuing bonds in Azerbaijani manats (AZN), said President of BSTDB Dmitry Pankin, Trend reports.
"Many international financial institutions are interested in issuing manat bonds, and we are pleased to be the first to do this," he said.
He noted that the bank studied the financial market of Azerbaijan and, in compliance with all international standards and requirements, issued manat bonds. Pankin added that other financial institutions can use this experience in the future.
The authorized capital of the BSTDB comprises 3.45 billion euros.
