Navoiazot puts up new product at Uzbek Commodity Exchange

Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) has begun selling PVC-S-4700 grade polyvinyl chloride, Trend reports citing UZEX.

The seller of the new exchange goods is Navoiazot JSC.

Currently, contract is open for the sale of the product on the domestic exchange market. According to the contract, the starting price of the lot is $1,150 per ton, one lot is one ton. The delivery condition is EXW (pickup from the seller’s warehouse).

On the first day, 100 tons of polyvinyl chloride in the amount of about $115,600 were put up for trading.

Bidding is conducted freely, transparently and with equal access to exchange trading for all categories of buyers. The appearance on the exchange of new products will contribute to the development of competition in the market.

Polyvinyl chloride is widely used in the electrical insulation of wires and cables, in the production of pipes, as well as in construction, light and textile industries.
