Domestically produced cars have risen in price by 15-20 percent on average in Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing UzAuto Motors.

The cost of two modifications of Damas increased by 21 percent. Price of DLX rose from 64.7 million soum ($6,800) to 78.3 million soum ($8,240), VAN - from 62.7 million ($6,600) to almost 76 million soum ($ 8,000). The car presented on the market under the LABO brand rose by 11 percent and now costs about 79.2 million soum ($8,340).

The price of Spark LT/AT model increased by 21 percent from 67.7 million ($7130) to 92.8 million soum ($9,800). Modification of LS M/T (second position) became more expensive by 10 percent, to 73.2 million soum ($7,700).

"Nexia 3" cars increased in price by 15-19 percent. Most of the increase has affected the LTZ modification. In the basic version the price is 106.4 million ($11,200), in the luxury version - 109 million soum ($11,470).

Cobalt rose in price by 10-14 percent. The most expensive car in the lineup now costs 115.4 million soum ($12,150). Lacetti, including the model equipped with a gas cylinder, rose in price by only three percent.

The price increase has not affected the following models: Malibu 2, Equinox, Tracker and Trailblazer.

In mid-February this year, UzAuto Motors said that the price of some modifications of Spark, Cobalt and Lacetti produced by the Uzbek company has slightly increased. This was due to equipping the models with additional options in accordance with international technical regulations.
