The volume of food production in Azerbaijan amounted to over 1.6 billion manat ($950 million) from January through May 2020, which is 8.1 percent more compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports referring to the State Statistical Committee.
In the reporting period, the production of beverages increased by 2.9 percent, up to 159.4 million manat ($93.7 million), and tobacco production - by 26.1 percent, up to 120.9 million manat ($71.1 million).
