The deficit of the state budget of Azerbaijan amounted to 677.6 million manat ($398.5 million) from January through September 2020, Trend reports citing the report of the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
According to the report, the country’s state budget revenues for the reporting period reached over 17.9 billion manat ($10.5 billion), which is 6.5 percent more compared to the same period of 2020.
At the same time, the state budget expenditures totaled over 18.6 billion manat ($10.9 million), which is 11.7 percent more compared to the same period of 2019, said the report.
The overall forecast for state budget revenues in 2020 is 24.1 billion manat ($14.1 billion), and for expenditures - 26.8 billion manat ($15.7 billion).
At the same time, the deficit of the state budget this year is projected at 2.76 billion manat ($1.62 billion) or 3.3 percent of GDP.
The state budget revenues of Azerbaijan in 2019 amounted to 24.2 billion manat ($14.2 billion) or 104.5 percent of the forecast, which is 1.7 billion manat ($1 billion) or 7.6 percent more compared to 2018.
