The currency reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) amounted to $ 6.5 billion in the beginning of October 2020, Trend reports, citing CBA's data.
Since the beginning of the year, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves have increased by 3.7 percent (from $ 6.2 billion to $ 6.5 billion). On an annualized basis, foreign exchange reserves grew by 7.6 percent (from $6.03 billion to $6.5 billion).
During September, the CBA's foreign exchange reserves increased by 0.1 percent or $ 7.5 million.
The money supply in manats at the beginning of October amounted to 12.2 billion manat ($7.2 billion), which is 0.6 percent more than at the end of 2019. On an annual basis, the increase in the money supply was 19.7 percent.
