Uzbekistan’s Agrobank to fund entrepreneurial activity under Islamic sharia law

Uzbekistan’s Agrobank allocated funds to support entrepreneurial activity in the conditions of Islamic Sharia law in Uzbekistan Trend reports with reference to the press service of Agrobank.

The amount of the agreement signed between Agrobank and the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation amounted to $10 million.

Reforming the economy of Uzbekistan creates favorable conditions for strengthening and expanding the international cooperation of the banking system and attracting foreign capital. All these conditions help stimulate and develop entrepreneurship.

The International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) is advancing trade to improve the economic situation and livelihoods of people across the Islamic world. The Company specializes in Sharia-compliant trade finance.

Agrobank Joint Stock Commercial Bank is the largest bank of Uzbekistan, with an extensive network of branches throughout the country, including Karakalpakstan Republican control.

The bank focuses on the financing of the real economy, attracting banking turnover surplus funds of the population, increasing the branch network and customer base, increase services, compliance with established basic parameters of the business plan and budget of the bank.
