A total of 1.86 trillion rials (about $44.3 million) worth of loans have been issued to manufacturing enterprises in the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) since the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2020), said Hossein Hosseini, Chairman of Industry, Mine, and Trade Organization of Bushehr Province, Trend reports citing the organization.
The chairman noted that 1.54 trillion rials (about $36.6 million) worth of loans have been given to 134 enterprises to increase manufacturing over the reporting period.
Hosseini added that moreover, 400 billion rials (about $9.52 million) worth of loans have been given to several enterprises operating in the special economic zones in the Bushehr Province.
“In addition, the loans worth 1.63 trillion rials (about $38.8 million) were also issued to maintain employment in the province,” he said.
Hosseini stressed that of this amount, 1.24 trillion rials (about $29.5 million) was issued by the organization and the rest by other banks.
