Azerbaijan's money supply notably up in 2020

The Money Supply Rate (М2) in Azerbaijan made up 20.3 billion manat ($11.9 billion) as of late 2020, which is 11.3 percent more compared to late 2019, Trend reports referring to the statistical bulletin of Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

According to the bank, the amount of Cash Money Supply (M0) increased by 13.4 percent to 10.77 billion manat ($6.34 billion), Broad Money Supply (M3) grew by 1.1 percent up to 29.18 billion manat ($17.16 billion), and Transaction money (M1) - by 16 percent, up to 17.86 billion manat ($10.5 billion).

M3 = M2 + savings deposits, state bonds.
