Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan increases investments in fixed assets

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Feb. 12

Over 37.4 million manat ($22 million) was allocated to fixed assets from all financial sources of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic at the end of January 2021, up 1.1 percent compared to Jan. 2020, Trend reports with reference to the report of Nakhchivan’s State Statistical Committee.

The autonomous republic's GDP increased in annual terms by 0.3 percent and amounted to 175.8 million manat ($103.1 million).

According to the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan, in January 2021, 724 million manat ($425.8 million) was allocated to fixed assets from all financial sources for the development of the socio-economic sphere, which is 27.5 percent less than in January 2020.
