Loans issued in Iran to increase manufacturing

The loans worth 70.7 trillion rials (about $1.68 billion) were issued to manufacturing enterprises in Iran during the first 11 months of last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020 through February 18, 2021) to increase employment and manufacturing, Trend reports citing the statistics of Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran.

According to the statistics, these loans were issued to 1,140 manufacturing enterprises.

"A total of 2,830 enterprises were registered to receive loans over the reporting period, and the names of 1,270 enterprises were declared to the banks for the issuance of loans worth about 106 trillion rials (about $2.52 billion)," the statistics said.

In addition, 7,500 manufacturing enterprises were registered to receive loans on manufacturing and employment from February 20, 2019 through February 18, 2020. Of these, the names of 2,950 enterprises have been declared to the banks for issuance of loans worth 221 trillion rials (about $5.27 billion). At the same time, the loans worth 85.3 trillion rials (about $2.03 billion) were issued to 1,410 enterprises within the mentioned period, the statistics said.
