Iranian President stressed that the gap between inflation and wage should not be ignored easily.
“The economic decisions should not increase the country's monetary base in any way,” Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said on Sunday at a meeting of the government's economic coordination headquarters, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Referring to the reform of the budget structure as a necessary and important issue, he called the reform of the budget structure, the government priority.
"Adapting salaries to inflation is a priority of the government, also planning to reduce costs, increase revenues and financial discipline must be put on the agenda," President added.
Raisi went on to note the comprehensive efforts to lift the sanctions simultaneously, the government must take the necessary measures to use internal resources and capacities to address the economic issues of the people.
