Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaijan plans to end 2021 with net profit, Chairman of the bank’s board, General Director of Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaijan Jenk Yuksel told Trend.
By the end of 2021, the bank aims to increase revenues by 21 percent of the amount of 19.6 million manat or $11.5 million (this is a figure of the end of 2020, and net profit by 41 percent (3.33 million manat or $19.5 million at the end of last year), he said.
The bank is actively working to preserve the high quality of the portfolio and is trying to maintain at a high level the reserves created on the basis of the requirements of standards for problem loans, said the chairman of the bank board.
The chairman also noted that the bank plans to improve digital services.
“The digitalization process has been accelerated by the impact of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) on the banking sector, and we are committed to meeting customer needs through mobile and internet banking. In particular, the possibilities of developing ways of communicating with the customer through digital channels and tools are being considered, allowing customers to perform many banking operations without visiting a branch,” Yuksel added.
