Uzbek Currency Exchange agrees on cooperation with Moscow Exchange

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Sept. 13

The Uzbek Republican Currency Exchange and the Moscow Exchange have agreed on further measures to develop cooperation, Trend reports citing the press service of the Central Bank.

The topic was discussed between the representatives of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan and the Moscow Exchange.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of the country's financial market. It was noted that in recent years, the stock and currency exchange in Uzbekistan has been developing intensively.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed on further measures to develop bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation between the Uzbek Republican Currency Exchange and the Moscow Exchange.

PJSC Moscow Exchange is the largest Russian exchange holding. The exchange was established in 2011 as a result of the merger of the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange and OJSC RTS Stock Exchange.
