Five priorities of the socio-economic development of Azerbaijan for 2022-2025 have been identified, Trend reports on Nov. 8 citing the bill of the state budget for 2022.
The priorities include:
1) Sustainable economy with increasing competitiveness
- long-term and high economic growth;
- resistance to internal and external influences.
2) Dynamic, inclusive society based on social justice
- benefit of every citizen from development;
- high and fair social security;
- balanced development of the capital and regions.
3) Area of competitive human capital and modern innovations
- education meeting the requirements of the XXI century;
- creative and innovative society;
- healthy lifestyle of citizens.
4) Great return to the lands liberated from Armenian occupation [in the 2020 second Karabakh war]
- stable settlement;
- reintegration into economic activity.
5) Country with a clean environment and green growth
- high-quality ecological environment;
- area of "green" energy.
As a result of the implementation of these priorities, Azerbaijan will successfully strengthen the connection between society, business and the state for its long-term and rapid development.
