Trading at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange increases

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 10

The value of trading at the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) has amounted to 129.8 trillion tenge ($305.6 billion) over the period from January through October 2021, which is 36 percent more than during the same period last year, Trend report citing KASE.

Furthermore, the value of trading at the KASE money market, including repo and currency swap transactions has amounted to 113.2 trillion tenge ($266.5 billion), which is 42.3 percent more than during the same period last year.

The value of transactions at the spot market has amounted to 11.9 trillion tenge ($28.02 billion), which is 26.1 percent more than last year.

KASE's 2019 – 2021 development strategy aims for modernization of KASE's technological infrastructure, the launch of the Central Counteragent’s services, an increase in the liquidity and depth of the exchange market, as well as implementing sustainable growth principles.
