Azerbaijan’s Azerpost, operating under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, has revised the tariffs for some of its financial services from December 1, 2021, Trend reports referring to Azerpost.
In accordance with Article 9.4 of the law of Azerbaijan "On mail", tariffs for postal services, except "Universal postal services", are set by postal operators independently.
According to the new decision, the opening of a current account in the local post offices and branches will be free of charge.
At the same time, the interest rate on domestic money transfers was reduced to one percent, and the commission fee for converting non-cash transactions was canceled.
Besides, a free electronic statement of the account balance and turnover of the account has been introduced in the offices of Azerpost.
