The largest share of loans issued in Azerbaijan in 11M2021 fell on households, accounting for 49.8 percent of the total lending, Trend reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the CBA, during the reporting period, the volume of loans issued to households increased on an annualized basis by 1.56 billion manats ($), or 23.16 percent - up to 8.32 billion manats ($918 million).
CBA reports that lending to trade and services increased over the year by 274 million manats ($161.2 million), or 10.56 percent - up to 2.86 billion manats ($1.7 billion) against 2.59 billion manats ($1.5 billion) in 11M2020. The share of trade and services in the total volume of lending amounted to 17.2 percent.

In general, the volume of loans issued in the real sector of the Azerbaijani economy in 11M2021 increased by 2.01 billion manats ($1.182 billion), or 13.75 percent on an annualized basis - from 14.681 billion ($8.6 billion) to 16.7 billion manats ($9.8 billion).
